The students of Emery are encouraged to be a member in clubs. There are many clubs, for example chess club, math club, environmental club etc. Throughout out the whole year there are different clubs going on.
Environmental Club: Is about discusing how we can have a clean school, you discuss recycling, and there is also a clean up contest that the whole is encouraged to join.
DECA Club: You learn more about the business world and also develop skill necessary in succeeding in today's hard market place.
Chess Club: Gives you the opportunity to challenge other students in your free time at lunch or after school.
Math Club: Is for hard working people who want a challenge.

If your not interested in joining a club why not join a committee. There is prom committee, multicultural committee etc.
O.S.A.I.D: Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving brings awareness to the students about alcohol abuse and the dangers of drinking and driving.
Prom Committee: Members meet and plan the annual prom. The also have a fundraiser to raise money so the tickets will be cheaper.
Multicultural Committee: Organizes a cultural diversity week. Everyone is encouraged to wear their traditional clothes and there is usually a show.

If your not interested in organizing events, maybe try joining a council. There are many councils like Athletic council, student council etc.
Athletic Council: Is responsible for organizing the sports, they also set up the athletic banquet.
Student Council: Members are elected at the end of each school year. Their task is to organize fun activities and help the students be in a safe and fun learning environment. They also set up a food bank
FIRST Robotic Team: Have to design and construct a robot.

If you like to play sports Emery has a wide variety of sports that you can join. There is soccer, football, swimming, etc.

Emery Collegiate Instiute has been a learning institute for 47 years. Our moto is Enisus Caelum Inveniat meaning one who strives can reach the sky. The traditional colours of Emery are Red, Black, and White. At Emery there are alot of extra-curricular activities. We have sports, councils/commities and clubs that students can join that fits their likes. For example soccer, chess club, and the prom committee.
